À propos de SmartRR

SmartRR is a mobile application that streamlines reporting and referral of gender-based violence (GBV) incidents. Designed for survivors, social workers, and service providers, it transforms how GBV cases are documented and routed to appropriate authorities and support services.

The app works on both smartphones and basic phones, removing barriers to reporting. Rather than relying on manual processes, users can quickly report incidents and access an automatically updated directory of available services. This direct connection to service providers reduces delays in getting help to those who need it.

SmartRR collects and analyzes referral data, giving organizations insight into GBV patterns and gaps in service availability. Service mapping features help users understand what support exists in their area. Social workers and service providers benefit from a centralized system that tracks cases and ensures referrals reach the right agencies.

The application addresses critical challenges in GBV response: underreporting due to access barriers, difficulty locating services, and fragmented data collection. By digitizing the referral process, SmartRR creates a faster, more reliable pathway from incident to support.

Developed by Big Family 360 Foundation, a Nigerian non-governmental organization, SmartRR reflects deep understanding of GBV response systems in resource-limited settings. The app is built to be accessible and practical for users across different technical abilities and phone capabilities, ensuring no one is left out of the reporting and support system.
